An opening of the license terms is possible on request. For example, data sets available under the CC-BY-SA license can also be obtained under the CC-BY or CC license for a fee. Please contact us via opendata@switzerland.com. Switzerland Tourism can provide you with a corresponding offer.

The image URL's contained in the Open Data API are not subject to the license terms of the data set. The use of the images is subject to the respective copyright provisions of the individual image. Update of the data

Switzerland Tourism regularly updates and revises the data made available via the Open Data API. However, the data recipients themselves are responsible for regularly updating the data obtained via the API. The data records each contain a time stamp indicating the last update date. However, there is no way to compare the data and data changes using the API. There is also no possibility to subscribe to automatic updates. The regular retrieval of the relevant content is therefore the responsibility of the data retriever. Switzerland Tourism may change and remove data at any time and without notice. Since data in tourism changes regularly, regular updating is expected from the data users.

Announcements and changes of the API

Switzerland Tourism takes care to ensure backwards compatibility with major changes to the API. However, the interfaces themselves can still be changed at any time without prior notice. In the event of adaptations to the Open Data API, Switzerland Tourism will not assume any costs for the necessary technical and content adaptations on the part of the data recipient.

No support is provided for the interfaces.

Switzerland Tourism strives for a high availability of the Open Data API. However, Switzerland Tourism cannot guarantee that the hub will function without interruption or disruption.
